Ensuring quality

Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)

NDT plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and quality of the repair work we perform at MarineShaft

Non-Destructive Testing

NDT is integrated into nearly all projects - before, during, and after repairs - as a quality assurance measure for detecting cracks and material fatigue in key maritime components.

Liquid Penetrant Inspection(LPI)
Fast and reliable method for detecting surface cracks before and after repair on all types of metals. Our technicians are certified to carry out LPI both in-house and on-site.

Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT)
Especially fluorescent MT, which provides higher accuracy and visibility than traditional magnetic powder methods and LPI. This technique is particularly effective for detecting cracks in areas that are corroded or difficult to inspect.

Third-Party Inspection

When a third-party inspection is required by class for ultrasonic testing, Liquid Penetrant Inspection or Magnetic Particle Testing, we cooperate with the certified company “Force Technology”.

We ensure complete transparency, and our work is conducted in cooperation with the involved classification society, supervised by a class surveyor.
