Cleaning services for vacuum sewage systems
MarineShaft offers Chemical Cleaning of Vacuum Toilet Systems to ensure consistent flow and prevent lime-scale accumulation in the pipelines. This preventive maintenance is performed while the vessel is in dock or berthed alongside, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
We utilize a purpose-built, closed-loop cleaning unit, designed in-house by MarineShaft, which connects directly to the ship’s vacuum sewage system.
During the process, water and acid are circulated through the pipelines under controlled conditions. The operation is carried out by two of our experienced service engineers, who monitor every stage to ensure safety and effectiveness.
After the cleaning is completed, the acid is neutralized, and the system is safely flushed. All waste liquid is transferred directly to the vessel’s black water tank for proper disposal.
